With a huge depth and variety of experience, and led by one of the UK’s top property experts, our team are more than equipped for any situation they might encounter. They review over 2,500 properties a month, select the best, and harness deep market knowledge to negotiate quality deals.

Robert Weaver
Director of Property

35 years, 15,000 units and £1 billion

Robert Weaver

Robert is one of the most experienced and respected residential property professionals in the UK. Formerly Global Director of Residential Investments at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), he also ran a £500m residential fund as Head of Residential Funds at Invista Real Estate. Before this, Robert spent 10 years at Savills heading a specialist team that managed residential investment portfolios. He also set up the Student accommodation investment team at Savills. Robert is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a member of the residential committee of the British Property Federation.

Rob also spent 13 years in the Territorial Army, and can often be found tearing across the country on his motorbike, searching for the best property investments for our community.


Eamonn Mullins
Acquisitions Director

29 years, 8,200 units and £310 million

Eamonn has an MSC in Property Investment and Development, which has given him a ground in the wider property sector, while specialising in residential. Previously, he worked as Area Manager at BPT Plc – then the largest quoted residential landlord in the UK. He was also Managing Director at Simmonds & Partners Chartered Surveyors, part of one of the largest property services groups in the UK at the time. In more recent years, Eamonn was brave enough to take the plunge and set up on his own – he started a niche property development company to great success. He discovered his love of property at a young age, buying his first property while at university aged just 18, and rented the other bedrooms to his friends.

Eamonn’s claim to fame is that he once bought a flat in Earlsfield that featured on Homes Under the Hammer.


Helen Simons
Head of Property Management

10 years, 1,400 units and £290 million

Helen has extensive experience in managing properties and refurbishments, as well as tenants. She manages our portfolio of properties to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Helen used to work for the UK’s largest listed residential landlord, Grainger plc, in the Property and Asset Management team. She also ran a portfolio within one of the UK’s largest market-led residential investment funds, GRIP, in partnership with APG, who are Europe’s biggest institutional investor. As well as day to day management, she dealt with large scale, high value sales and acquisitions. Helen is an NLA (National Landlords Association) accredited landlord – a scheme which recognizes professional competency and continued best practice.

Helen is also a classics geek, and can read Latin and Ancient Greek. She’s an absurdly fast reader (a book a week), and this comes in handy when reviewing all of the paperwork that goes with each of our property purchases.


Simon Williams
Acquisitions manager

22 years, 5,800 units and £310m

When it comes to acquiring and managing property – Simon is a seasoned professional. Before joining Property Partner, he worked several years as Residential Asset Manager at Retirement Plus Ltd. He also spent a combined 15 years at BPT and Grainger plc; the UK’s largest listed residential landlord. He worked in the Retirement Solutions department at Grainger, and was responsible for a large portfolio of Equity Release properties across the South East and South West of the country. With the entrepreneurial spirit we value at Property Partner, he also set up his own property investment and refurbishment company, acquiring and running investment properties on his own account.

Simon is a keen scuba diver and spent several months volunteering on a small island off the coast of Malaysia, carrying out surveys on coral reefs and monitoring marine life.


Swetha Patel
Head of Property Legals

Swetha forms the legal foundation of our property team, having over 10 years of experience as a qualified property solicitor. She has experience in a wide variety of transactions from plot sales in large scale developments to multi million pound portfolio sales, purchases and re-finances. She has acted for Social Housing providers in the purchase of developments, purchases of regeneration sites and stock transfers involving over 400 units.

Swetha is a keen pianist, and enjoys going to the theatre whenever she can.


Ruman Sahota
Property Analyst

3 years, 400 units and £74 million

Ruman was the first person to join Robert on the property team. Fascinated by the idea of property crowdfunding after reading a news article about Property Partner, Ruman approached the team – and the rest is history. He is currently training towards his APC, which will allow him to become a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Ruman has a keen interest in property renovation projects. He’s already been involved with over 15, and managed two of them himself. He also holds the title of Property Partner Table Tennis champion, and used to play at national tournaments.


David Masters
Property Acquisition Analyst

6 Months, 80 units, £11M

“It’s about finding a balance – why will tenants want to rent our properties, and why will investors want to invest? I ask myself: Would I want to live there? Would I put my own money into this property?”

David Masters

Our youngest member, David has worked for us since graduating from university. David helps review over 2,500 properties a month, applying our selection criteria to each before passing them to the wider team. He also assists in property research and putting together investment cases for each property on the platform.

Back at university, David was amongst the top 10 ranked swimmer for his event, the 200M individual medley, and competed at international meets, and the Rio de Janeiro Olympic trials.


Sam Rimmer
VP of Supply Operations

Sam ensures the smooth running of our property team. Behind each property listing is a huge logistical and selection process – we review over 2,500 properties per month, narrowing these down to a longlist of 50, then a shortlist of 25, before we finally select 4 each month for listing on the platform. The team visits each property before is it shortlisted. Sam ensures that everything is fully organised, and is in charge of how we can keep processes simple, to aid the selection process as we bring more and more properties to the site.

Sam is also a tea aficionado – her desk is “never without white tea and a tea filter”. Someday, she hopes to spend some time on a tea plantation in China.
