A new service: Advance Pre-order
We’re excited to announce the trial of a new Advance Pre-order service for Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
In response to customer feedback, and the incredibly strong demand for our PBSA launch in Exeter, we’re trialling Advance Pre-order for future PBSA opportunities. This will give investors the chance to reserve a position in the queue, with the confidence of a target yield of over 6% after all costs and fees, ahead of them appearing on the site.
There are two benefits to doing this. Firstly, all investors will be paid interest of 5% from the moment they commit funds via Advance Pre-order. Secondly, you can secure a full allocation on a first come, first served basis. Funds will not be subjected to scale back, and amounts not deployed in the next property will simply move forward, in the queue, for deployment in the subsequent property – earning 5% interest throughout.
From our side, this process will give us much greater visibility of investor demand, so we can more closely match the frequency and size of future PBSA launches with the demand from our investor community.
How will this work?
We offer 3 funding options to suit your investment strategy: Auto-Invest, the Premium Client Programme, and Advance Pre-order. None of these will be subject to scale back.
Funds will enter the queue in priority order, as below:
The Auto-invest feature automatically deploys funds across the next five property listings (Residential & PBSA), and isn’t subject to scale back. As a bonus we offer 5% interest on funds that have been committed to Auto-invest but have not yet been invested in a property. Learn more.
2. Premium Client Programme
This programme can be accessed via a Relationship Manager for deposits over £50k. The programme has the same benefits as Auto-invest, but also offers a more tailored experience through a dedicated Relationship Manager. If you’d like to access this programme please email us.
3. Advance Pre-order
For PBSA in Advance Pre-order, investments will be processed on a first come first served basis, and not subject to scale back. The minimum deposit amount is £250. Any funds not deployed will remain in the queue for the next PBSA property, and you’ll continue to earn 5% interest until your funds are deployed.
